This table is for guidance only and does not constitute a binding statement. In practice self-tests are to be carried out in advance. Further information can be obtained via our application technology.

Pretreatment:

Before applying the adhesive the user has to ensure that the materials in the area of contact (solid, liquid and gaseous) are compatible with the adhesive and do not damage or alter them. All adherent surfaces have to be clean, free from fat, dry and sustainable. Any contaminant such as release agents, preserving agents, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives or sealants and other substances which could affect adhesion, should be removed. Metal surfaces may need to be roughened. The humidity within workroom should range within 50-70%. The adhesion process is delayed when the humidity is too low.

Application information:

Apply adhesive in dots or thin lines, depending on scope of operation. The assemble parts are held together under pressure for approx. 20-60 seconds depending on their material. Because of the variety of possible influences while processing and application customer tests are required. Please observe the recommended shelf life which is printed on the packaging. The cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically. Because of the strong smell of the adhesive there needs to be good ventilation within the work rooms. Although the adhesive does not cause irritability of the skin, netting the skin should be avoided. Removing excess adhesive can be achieved with hand washing paste or with a hand washing stone. When working, the use of protective glasses is necessary! If the adhesive should spray into the eyes, perform an eye flush immediately with the appropriate infusion (boric water) and then visit a physician. In our experience no lasting damage has occurred.

Store away from sunlight, protected against moisture and heat. Shelf life is six months at a temperature of 20°C, refrigerated approximately 12 months and if stored in a freezer at almost unlimited. Before application the adhesive should be warmed to room temperature. If the products are stored and / or transported at higher temperatures / air humidity for longer periods (some weeks) / intensive sunlight, a diminution of durability or a change of material characteristics may arise.

Only for commercial users. Please observe material safety data sheet. For information about disposal please refer to material safety data sheet.
